Sickly Days
I
don't know what happened to me. I've been sick since Friday. At first i
thought I'm just over-fatigue from cleaning the house for two days
straight and doing the laundry immediately after then. But i think, this
isn't just not a simple fatigue. I'm suffering from a flu.I have plans
to review for the coming series of examinations but this sickening
sickness delaying everything. I hate being sick when in times like this
that i have to do something but i just can't. How i hate this kind of
hassle. This is the part that i hate most: the feeling of dizziness that
makes everything moves on their own.

Summer SPLASH
Beach Time!
Take your bikinis and summer dresses out from ur closet, but before hitting the shore let's first know what are the trends this year. What's Hot in this summer?
COLOR
Highlighted summer hues in this season are the solid, bold colors such like tangelo, lavender, turquiose, coral pink, lemon, deep pink, paris green, fallow, duke blue and medium taupe. Don't be bothered if you got neon or pastel colors, they never fail to complement the season. I don't know what's the real pick this year but i have to agree (personally bias) with http://www.squidoo.com/sharsspringsummerfashion that mint green (one of my favorite colors) is the color this season: so cooling, refreshing and rejuvenating.
A little advice, do away matching over three colors if you dont want the fashion police will drag you in the box.
If you need minute guide how to mix-up ur garments in the right contrast here's an excerpt from http://www.pantone.com/pages/fcr.aspx?pg=20911&ca=4.
Note: Colors were visualized in the text color of their names.
and Cabaret. Combine Margarita with Sweet Lilac and Cockatoo for a subtle
alternative, or combine Margarita with Sweet Lilac and Driftwood for a more
practical variation. Solar Power is best juxtaposed with Sodalite Blue. For a safer
bet, add a natural neutral like Starfish to the mix.

Design
Flowers, Abstract Prints and Stripes are popular. If you have noticed, they are the revival of the earlier years. Minimal changes done in tailoring. So, you can still use your last year wardrobe or your casual wear. Just add some twist to make it look anew.
SWIMWEAR
If you're planning of hitting the beach, you desperately need a swimwear that will fit to your body type. Here are some suggested selections of swimwear you would like to consider:
VINTAGE-INSPIRED
RUFFLED
PRINTS
ONE-SHOULDER
CUT OUT
SEQUINS
MONOTONE
RETRO
BANDEAU
ON-TREND SWIMWEAR FOR YOUR BODY TYPE
The reality is that when it comes to swimwear, not every cut is going to flatter every figure. But between all of the trending 2011/2012 styles there’s certainly something for everyone. It will certainly always come down to what you’re most comfortable with, but if you’re after a starting point here are some shape-based suggestions:
- Fuller figure
Embrace the vintage trend and use it to accentuate rather than try and hide your curves. Try halternecks or cupped styles, and anything that brings in the waist to play to an hourglass shape.
- Pear shape / small bust
Use ruffles to your advantage by adding volume at the top half. Ruffles around the bust can make it seem visually larger. You can also use vintage cupped styles with padding to create curves.
- Top heavy
Use ruffles to your advantage by conversely adding them to the bottom to balance your hips with your bust. Avoid unstructured crochets or string bikinis if they don’t offer any support; instead stick to strucutred styles and halternecks.
- Short legs
To lengthen the body pair a printed bikini top with a block-coloured bottom, drawing the attention upwards. Avoid boy-legs and go for high cut thighs instead so as to not shorten the legs further.
- Athletic figures
If you’re not big on the curves make the most of styles like statement strapping, backless styles and crochet that instead show off a toned physique.

Got to do it
busy Monday awaits me and i'm not still ready for it. got loads of work to do but still has the time to visit FB to check new notifications & updates. has not yet started the paper-works and planned to do it so on my own favorable time. It's not that my maryana habit is attacking me again. the assignments were all given last Friday and since its Friday, i gave the night a break to doze off early. Saturday is my laundry day. all weekdays dirty clothes were dumped in the washing bin. tried to get started that night but failed to do so cause something went wrong with the PC. maybe got bad luck & end up sleeping with worries on my thought. Sunday is family day. got schedule to attend a funeral. after the long & hard day of traveling, and gulping H2O for being dehydrated under the striking heat of the sun, really pushing hard my exhausted self to finish the agreement. a little twist of my body and stretching my weary muscle, complement it with little caffeine (which really helpful keeping me awake in wee hrs) here i am.... planning to start to work it Now!

Flowering May
Hey May! Here you are again. The shortest (name) month of the year. You may come and go and i never hates you. How can i hate you when you represents us, MOTHERS. Mom, mum, mommy, nanay, mom, mama & etc., this month is ours to celebrate our challenging profession together with the blooming of the flowers. I don't mean biological mothers only but even those who loves their kids as their own.
The complexity of our work could never be compared to others. We devoted our whole selves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually to our kids. Agree or not, we've got the toughest job. We don't get paid with cash or credit but what we are aiming is to see our kids grow up accordingly. Our sweats, tears and blood were returned by simple hugs and kisses. These things are priceless and the effect is self-fulfilling.
Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs in my field, since the payment is pure love. ~Mildred B. Vermont
Children may hate their moms but moms never hate their children, no doubt about that. They scold children at the same time scolding themselves. No mother could bare watching her kids in pain. Whoever could bare, then she's not suppose to be called as mom. Our love for our kids is like an uncorrupted blooming flowers. Never be withered and will stay pure forever.
Some mothers are kissing mothers and some are scolding mothers, but it is love just the same, and most mothers kiss and scold together. ~Pearl S. Buck
Now May is here. Let's hear you say "Thank You" and "I Love You" to them. I know it is always forgotten and Now is the time! Excuses and alibies as not accepted here. Let's not be shy to tell them how much we love them. Don't wait for May to remind us about them. Remember with out them, we will never be existed.
To all moms around the earth, "HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY!"

Unspoken Enmity
i woke up this morning with heavy dizzy head and unpredictable temper. one wrong move, i thought i'm gonna explode and somebody might get hurt emotionally. i am silent when i thinking deep and its dangerous because many things is running on my head. with my unpredictable temper comes with my unusual attitude. this side of mine comes out only when i heard something isn't nice especially when somebody criticized my family.
i know we're poor but besides the challenge i'm proud to say that my parents brought me up as a good daughter, student, citizen and child of God. i never enjoyed gossiping and peeping out at some others'lives. i hated rumors until now. they are like contagious diseases spreading out rapidly, become epidemic and bring plague to those who are fond of making up stories.it's really hard to dealt with individual differences especially if the one you are dealing with will never stoop down to understand and appreciate the things that differ from their perspective. sometimes its better to deal with people who have less knowledge but got values than those with empowering closed mind and rotten trait.
attacking me at my back is definitely a cowardly action. those who are doing this are the people who are afraid of their own committed mistakes. they pretend to be your friends who understand and love you to cover up their unbearable poignant dirty secrets.
thank God that my thread of patience never ripped out and my cooling system is unbeatable if so happen that all these things messed up,there will be floods of tears and blood.

at the corner of my mind
i don't know why sometimes when i want to share something it ended up not telling at all. i don't know why i have these doubts and having the habit of predicting the people's reactions when ever they may know something in me. I'm afraid how they may judge me or having an idea of what is happening in me. Scarred that they may misinterpreted me and destroy the concept of who i am to them. does this mean that what I'm showing to them is my pretentious side? that I'm fake?
i don't think so. it's only that what I'm showing is just a part of me. the whole me is still a mystery to others. even me sometimes is surprise of what I'm capable of doing that may differ to my beliefs.
keeping the whole me is the safest and sharing a bit of me is the wisest thing to do because you don't know what these people think of you that giving them the advantage of holding your neck. if they knew many things about you, they know how to handle you, make u follow them and even use you for their benefit.
i remembered reading this line but not in exact arrangement of words: it's better to be quiet and be misunderstood than to talk and be misinterpreted.

K-pop Fever
The out growing popularity of Korean pop culture is unbeatable. It invades many Asian countries and even reached USA. Its unstoppable. Most of the k-pop stars are mostly known from music industry then entered the showbiz business. Here in Philippines k-pop popularity was introduced first to Filipinos from airing some of the famous Korea-novellas in Philippine television. From Korean artists, Korean singers and boy-band gradually becomes popular. The quiet nation of Korea where now a big bang to the ears of Filipinos. Comes next the invasion of Koreans in Philippines to study the English language. They are very rampant in any corner of our nation. How did Filipinos hooked with this K-pop culture? In reminiscing some Korea-novellas such like Coffee Prince, Full House, My Girl, Green Rose( which started airing the Pinoy version last Monday and others; In my opinion, don't know if others will agree, the story lines are simple but have the touch of cuteness and uniqueness in every role. They don't have this vulgar way of showing love such kissing style of the Europians. Kissing scene is seldom to be seen in Kore-novellas and usually shows intense emotion of love or in unexpected twist of the story.
I have noted the following factors on why Filipinos is deeply indulge in this K-pop culture. It's my mere factors.
First.Physical appearance.
We, Filipinos are fond of their innocent little eyes plus the very charming smiles. We adores their pore-less white skin.We mostly focuses on their youthful face. They also have this unique fashion sense.
Second.Attitude.
Koreans are well-known for being well-discipline. Most of them are sly and liberated. Never put noses on others'business.
Third.Age.
Todays' generation of pop groups or bands are commonly made up of teenagers. Some of the famous groups at this age range are SuperJunior, 2ne1, SS501 and etc.
Even myself is influenced by peers to know more about them. I hope someday our culture too will reach the same level as the K-pop culture reached.
